"I go there to buy a ride for my new bike. I have the rim. I ask the Liz what is on sale in the 190 50 zr17 size with good wear. He says we don’t have that here. I say well what do you have. He acts Ike I made him come to work. At this point I know we are going to have a problem. After finding the tire I sign to have it installed. I kindly ask the kid to please not scuff the rim. He says the machine doesn’t scuff rims. I know that but He might. I then let him see e take pictures of the rim and leave. I pick up the tire at the end of the day, and I brought it when they first opened the doors. After installing it back on the bike I notice the most I don’t care weight placement humanly possible. I knew he would do something to get at me. So I call back and tell the guy on the phone at cycle gear the weights are on the wheel crooked and at the edge. He says well they still work... After giving him the point and explaining I understand he doesn’t care because it’s not his bike, I expain that I own this very expensive bike, it looks bad, and I actually do care. He then says fine then, bring it back and we’ll put it however you like. As long as you’re happy with it. I told him it’s on the bike already, and I will bring it back when I need a new one, then they can do it right. So the cost of the tire plus the cost of install was about the same as the dealer, who is pricey but treats my property like it is worth something. Dealer from now on. Good luck with that business."

"Walked in with a bad tire. They had one in stock , needed a 90degree valve stem they had it . Put the new tire on the wheel. And I was back riding in an hour. You can't get better than that , thank those guys for me , wonderful service. I thought I would be down for 3 days waiting for the tire. "

"Alec has been very helpful and is my go-to-guy at the Cycle Gear Pittsburg store. He recommended a rear sprocket for my WR250R and it worked out just as he said it would. The special order came in in just two days, and fit my bike nicely. He sold me one rim lock as he said I really did not need two; it is rare to find customer service like that.

Cycle Gear's prices and knowledgeable staff make it a one stop store for my needs. They let the gear/parts/etc. speak for themselves so I don't feel like I'm being "marketed". Nice."
